In 2023, Communauto Atlantic reached a significant milestone: 15 years offering a carsharing service in Halifax. As the year came to a close we rushed to add 27 new vehicles, bringing the fleet to 200 cars. This remarkable growth underscores the community’s commitment to eco-friendly and cost-effective transportation solutions.

With only 9 cars at the launch of the carsharing service, Halifax reached the 100 cars mark in 2020. Since then, the fleet has doubled in just three years, reflecting the success of our service and growing demand.
A convenient and affordable service tested and approved

A year and a half ago, I had a baby. At first, I thought my carshare days were over. But with the right car seat and a little car seat dolly, my baby and I have been able to go all over the place in FLEX cars while saving hundreds of dollars a month.” – Blanche, member since 2020
